In England, the top 20 clubs split a pot of £2.5 billion for TV and commercial revenue alone. With more money in the game than ever before, it is not an uncommon occurrence to see a club stuck in the perpetual cycle of hiring a manager, spending lots of money, results turning poor and then sacking the manager and starting over. The endless pursuit of instant success at the cost of long term stability is a result of poor leadership and one way it can be explained is through game theory.

3 Players who could replace Luis Suarez

I’m sure the ”to do” list is a long and extensive one at the Camp Nou in 2020, but the top priority should be to find a replacement for Luis Suarez, a search which I understand is very much underway. One of the worlds best throughout his time at both Liverpool and Barcelona the Uruguayan has hit 191 goals and laid on 97 assists since his move to the Catalan side. Now aged 33 in the early stages of rehab from an injury that is expected to keep him out for what is likely the rest of the season, Barcelona chiefs should be looking at who could lead the line post Luis Suarez.
